Matters to be Voted On
In the upcoming elections, voting stockholders will be asked to approve the membership of the 2010 Nominating Committee and to vote for candidates to serve on the Board of Directors from Regions 7, 8 and 9.

2010 Nominating Committee
Voting stockholders must approve the members of the Nominating Committee for all director elections. Each member of a Nominating Committee must own voting stock with Northwest FCS and otherwise meet eligibility requirements set by the Board of Directors. The eligibility of each of the candidates listed below has been confi rmed. Once elected, this Nominating Committee will be responsible for selecting the director candidates to be placed on the ballot in the 2011 director elections involving Regions 1, 5 and 11. The voting stockholders will be asked to approve the following slate of candidates to serve as the 2010 Nominating Committee:

The ballot provided with the voting material will allow you to individually indicate which of these individuals are acceptable to you to serve on the Nominating Committee. For your convenience, you will also be able to check an “Approve the Entire Slate” box on that ballot. Checking that box will constitute an individual approval vote for each candidate listed.
If you didn't receive a ballot and are a designated voter, please contact Joan Haynes at joan.haynes@farm-credit.com. The Tellers Committee will count ballots on Thursday, March 4, 2010.
Northwest FCS Director Election Positions
Northwest FCS’ Board of Directors consists of 14 board positions. Eleven positions are held by voting stockholders who are both nominated and elected by the voting stockholders. Three positions are appointed by the board. Both stockholder-elected and board-appointed directors serve as the board of NWACA, NWPCA and NWFLCA. Director terms are five years. This year, three stockholder-elected director positions are up for election. These positions are from Regions 7, 8 and 9.
